Watchet Carnival:-

Held on the last weekend of July each year, Watchet Carnival is one of only a few daylight carnival procession left in the area.

The carnival is a 2 day event, starting with the parade at 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday from Knights Templar School, Liddymore Rd. and finishing in the town centre. The parade will include a flying display over the harbour and entertainment around the town

On Sunday will be the traditional Carnival Fete on Watchet's Memorial Ground from mid-day onwards, with plenty of events and stalls.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A DOG EXCLUSION ZONE, so we are sorry that dogs are not allowed on the Memorial Ground

Watchet Music Festival:-

Watchet Music Festival is the largest outdoor music event, held on the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday to Sunday.

A family friendly event "bringing the festival experience to the area", with a wide range of international, up and coming and weird and wacky acts, offering many music genres - performing on three stages, you are sure to find an act you have never seen before.

Along with a food court, festival markets, real ale and cider bar, free kids “hands on” activities, this 3 day festival has been nominated in the UK festival awards 5 years running.
